Join the Morris County Fair Housing Committee
The Housing Committee meets monthly from September to May on the second Wednesday of the month. Meetings are at 29 Ann Street in Morristown from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm.
The mission of the Housing Committee is to act as an advocate and educator for fair housing. The committee will:
- Familiarize itself with existing Federal, State, and local fair housing law, and tenant/landlord rights and responsibilities
- Develop & distribute informational brochures
- Sponsor workshops on fair housing issues
- Share information cooperatively with a broad spectrum of organizations serving protected classes of individuals with housing needs
- Recruit individuals who represent and serve protected classes for membership on the committee
